Nikola has been working at BSL as a marketing intern as part of her marketing study at the HZ University of Applied Sciences since June.
In this short time, she has already proved herself to be a valuable asset to the BSL team as our latest marketing intern. Nikola uses Social Media channels & SEO to support marketing activities for mobile apps developed by BSL, as well as working on BSL marketing campaigns – and we are very happy with the results.
Google Online Marketing Challenge
Nevertheless it was a big surprise to learn that she has recently been announced a winner in the Google Online Marketing Challenge! As part of a 5-member team, she helped create and run an online marketing campaign based on Google Adwords for Novack’s Uniform Solutions (now known as Talbot Promo) over a 3-week period, using a $250 AdWords advertising budget provided by Google. Her team also created a Google+ Social Media campaign for the same company for a 5-week period.
The successful creation and management of these two campaigns meant that Nikola’s team was named as the Americas regional winner for both categories: Adwords business, and Google+ Social Media Marketing. The well-earned prize is a trip to the Google Headquarters in California (“Googleplex“) at the beginning of October. Well done Nikola!
