With our many years of experience and our in-house expertise, BSL knows everything there is to know about effective project management. By designing and developing custom software in close cooperation with our customers, and with an eye to the future, we are able to respond quickly to their changing needs. The ABN AMRO’s Signature Registration System (SRS) is a case in point: our engineers recently completed a New SRS release – on time, and on budget.
New SRS release for ABN
SRS is a custom-made solution developed by BSL that allows bank staff to securely and reliably manage and verify signatures and Powers of Attorney (PoA) for their personnel throughout the world via a dedicated web application. Integrated with their Human Resources system and to local Chambers of Commerce, it provides authorized personnel with all the tools needed to manage the verification process, and to create and maintain PoAs and personnel details.
Although SRS has been in use for many years, BSL’s involvement has not stood still – new web interfaces were designed and delivered in 2013. By working closely with ABN AMRO during the last year we can guarantee that the system continues to evolve in line with their requirements. This latest SRS release aims to enhance the efficiency of bank processes even further.
Interface to human resources system
One of the most important elements of SRS is it’s link with the ABN AMRO Human resources application, facilitating regular imports of personnel information. In the new release, we’ve optimized this link so that imports from Human Resources require fewer manual authorizations. We’ve also improved the workflow for the remaining administration tasks, and made changes to the user interface. The end result – key users can now work far more easily and quickly.
New functionality has been added too, so that users can create customized reports for management, exporting them directly from SRS to Excel.
The entire project was carried out in close cooperation with ABN AMRO. It was completed well in advance of their internal ICT deadlines, meaning that users are already able to use the new software –not only on time, but in fact ahead of time!
